After a 26km cycle from Pearly Beach we arrived at Lomond. To wash off the trail dust, we were forced to have a Whale Coast IPA, looking out over the stunning view.

The route had some serious ascent in the beginning, and then the scenic valley through Baardskeerdersbos.

Kayla was responsible for vehicular support, and got us home safely 🚙

On the road between Stanford and Von Brakel intersection is this unpretentious wine farm. There is a tasting room inside but we preferred the    lawn under the trees with the view.
